Work Skills Survey
field would like to thank all those who have already completed the work skills survey in 2011. To give more workers the opportunity to participate the survey will remain open until Friday 16 March 2012.
About the Survey
Workers from CSOs funded by Department of Human Services (DHS) are invited to participate in the following 'Work Skills Survey'*. The 'Work Skills Survey' contains questions relating to the day to day skills required by, direct support staff, supervisors and managers.
We encourage all workers to complete the survey as the information collected will be collated and used by field, to identify current work skill knowledge and identify priority areas for learning and development. All individual responses are ANONYMOUS.
Please distribute this email to workers in your organisation.
Which survey should I do?
The survey is based on your employment classification. By clicking on the appropriate link below you will be directed to an online survey. You will need to answer each question and please choose the most appropriate response for each question.
The surveys are classified as:
- CSO - Direct Support Officer/Direct Support Worker - if your job involves direct support work
- CSO - Coordinators / Team Leader Survey - if your job involves support service coordination (eg. Support Services Coordinator, Team Leader, Supervisor, Coordinator)
- CSO - Management of Service Delivery Survey - if your job involves Management of Service Delivery (eg. Regional Manager, Branch Manager, Business Service Manager, Program Manager, Project Manager, Volunteer Manager, Commercial Manager, Project Manager, Client Services Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager)
How can I get the most out of this survey process?
On completion and submission of the electronic survey, it is strongly recommended that you print a copy of the survey and highlight and note your areas of development. Take along this print out and use it as a guide when discussing your Professional Development and Support plan with your line manager.
How long will it take?
The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Ensure you complete the survey as incomplete surveys cannot be saved.
