Agency Training Plan

An Agency Training Plan (ATP) is a management tool. Its purpose is to identify and prioritise the training needs of the organisation.

The Victorian Department of Human Services(DHS) requires funded disability services agencies to meet the standards set by the Disability Services Self-Assessment System (DSAS). The Management Self-Assessment section of DSAS identifies the criteria that agencies must meet in relation to their staff training responsibilities.

This ATP Resource Kit has been developed to

  • assist disability agencies to identify their training needs in the context of their unique agency requirements.
  • assist agencies to prioritise their identified training needs and formulate a plan of implementation.

  • provide resources which will help agencies to complete the ATP process; and
  • provide a comprehensive approach to agency training planning which can assist agencies to meet the relevant sections of the DSAS.

To view the relevant section of the ATP Resource Kit, simply click on the world map or on one of the buttons click on the image of the world to select an ATP program area.
